What Mr Buff is for
The mission is narrow on purpose: put the real number next to the claim, show where it came from, and let readers decide. We lead with the United States and keep a smaller, separate edition for Canada.

Who built the site
The site was designed and built by Dream Daley. Dream Daley is credited as the developer; TNAADO Inc. is the owner and publisher.
The mascots
Mr. Buff, Terence and Little Buff are illustrated mascots, not people, experts, authors or reviewers; one appears in each page’s byline. TNAADO Inc. publishes the site: a person reads the data from the sources, the comparisons and analysis text are generated from that data by script, and pages follow the editorial policy. We name no individual reviewer and claim no expert review.

The beginner who wants a straight answer.
What every page contains
- Figures read from the retailer’s, gym’s or chain’s own page, each with a link and a read date.
- A “Published” and “Updated” date at the top. Updated means the date the underlying data was last read.
- Tools that run in your browser: filters, a first-year gym cost estimator, a meal builder and a protein calculator. Nothing you type is sent to us.
- A plain statement of what we could not confirm.
Methodology in short
We open the official page, record the figure and its source, compute the comparison (for example cost per 100 g of protein) mechanically, and drop anything we cannot confirm. The full method is on how we get our numbers, and our rules for sourcing and corrections are in the editorial policy.
Independence
We have no affiliate links, no sponsored listings and no paid placement: no retailer, gym or restaurant pays to be included, ranked or praised, and rankings are mechanical sorts of the numbers shown.
